Crypto sent to wrong coinbase token address

I mistakenly sent $WETH from my MetaMask wallet to my Coinbase $ETH address instead of my Coinbase $WETH address. I was planning on buying more $ENS. I have the transaction details and all accounts involved are mine. Is there a way to redirect the transaction funds to the correct coin address?

I think you’re out of luck, but open a ticket with Coinbase.

I would imagine that Coinbase has the ability to return the WETH to you since it is an ERC20, but WETH is currently an unsupported cryptocurrency on their platform.

I was able to get my $WETH back into my MetaMask wallet, by importing the tokens. When I sent max, it failed to include the full amount of my $WETH and sent only .07 USD. Whew!

I swapped the $WETH for $ETH, then sent it to my coinbase account where I converted into $ENS.
