How’s this going? Have you all had a chance to talk to the Lighthouse team (re: Organizational metadata on ENS) to coordinate any overlap or how these standards could be complementary to each other?
The way I see it, EIP-4824 can be used to define what DAOs are onchain (voting logic, governance contracts, etc.), while the ENS org-metadata standard can be used to define how the DAO operates socially (deleagates, contributor roles, etc).
Since both standards are recommending structured JSON, both are verifiable, and both can reference each other.
Together, they can provide a complete, interoperable description of a DAO — the contracts and the humans who coordinate them.
Seems pretty important tbh, feels like this could be pretty important for the DAO ecosystem.
