ENS name: edzorg.eth
My reasons for wanting to be a delegate: I joined the cryptoverse in 2017 looking to contribute to something I considered exciting and bleeding edge technology. After treating the cryptoverse as a side project for several years Iāve finally immersed myself in the web3 ecosystem.
The current leadership of ENS team is demonstrating a sophisticated and mature approach that I canāt fault and Iād love to be able to contribute to the success of ENS.
Iād love to see a world where one day ENS becomes 3NS as it evolves from being the Ethereum Name Services into the Web3 Name Service. A cross chain, decentralised, naming solution to unite the cryptoverse. Working in this space is so incredibly exciting.
My view on each section of the proposed ENS Constitution:
- Name ownership is an absolute right: Agree
- Registration fees exist as an incentive mechanism: Agree
- Income funds ENS and other public goods: Strongly agree. Even if the operation of ENS becomes more profitable all the funds must be transparently used for other public goods with appropriate on-chain votes.
- ENS Integrates with the global namespace: Very strongly agree and want to see ENS support all blockchains as well as the existing web2 world.
My web3 qualifications / skills:
- 10 years as a software engineer
- 5 years in crypto
- 3 years in leadership roles
- Executive at cryptocurrency exchange
- Active across a variety of web3 communities
- User of multiple DeFi protocols
- Passionate believer that web3/DLTs/DAOs and related technologies are changing the world in a myriad of ways. I couldnāt be working in any other sector.
- I run an Ethereum validator and I make my configuration available for others to use or benefit from
- Iāve written code for Ethereum 2.0 as well as contributing to Cardano a while back.
- I will never stop learning about and contributing to the web3 world
To everyone that chooses to delegate to me - thank you so much. Your delegation/support is an honour and not something I take lightly. I will do my very best to represent you and help ENS thrive.
