ENS name: Cryptogate.eth
My reasons for wanting to be a delegate:
I have been been aware of crypto since early 2012 and have since aped in early 2020 with my wife. With my continued frustration with the gross spending and printing of money, I have not only favored crypto and blockchain as a superior form of transaction just our currency but as a technology that will disrupt every sector of life as we know it over the next 10 years. I have am a firm supporter of nearly all decentralized efforts.
My view on each section of the proposed ENS Constitution
- Name ownership shall not be infringed: Agree , this is reasonable.
- Fees are primarily an incentive mechanism: Agree , I have no problem with supply the DAO with an incentivized mechanism.
- Income funds ENS and other public goods: Agree , the ability to allocate funds to outside projects, scholarships, no profit entities or etc.
- ENS Integrates with the global namespace: Disagree , I don’t think ENS should grant control to top-level domains to their due to their legacy of being registered on the DNS 1st. These entities had the opportunity already to adopt new innovations with the DNS and now with the ENS system new users/new blood must now forfeit these opportunities to these “Veterans”. I think 1st come 1st serve is best. I understand for the ease of integration and global adoption that we want ENS to be fluid with the DNS authority however, DNS may not be the superior authority moving forward.
My web3 qualifications / skills : Well versed in the blockchain and crypto space and terminology. Understands the meta, nft, DEFI, CEX, DEX, staking, and the importance of GM.
