My reasons for wanting to be a delegate:
I really appreciate and love this Program since it.first launch on 2017. At that time I make an auction to get a ENS Domain.

After migration to ERC721, the ENS ecosystem and trading function greatly approved since it comes with a standlized token. I really thank to this team and project, and am willing to contribute to the society of ENS.

As Im also a frontend engineer as well as smart.contract programming, I am quite familiar with web3 development, also should be my pro skills for this project.

My reasons for wanting to be a delegate:
I’ve been a long-time web3 believer with most of my financial asset on chain. I’ve also been flying the flag to on-board people around me to web3: I am currently the leader of UnknownDAO, the largest DAO at China aiming to empower individuals.

Agree with that! Once you own an ENS domain it should be yours forever to keep or transfer or sell. The new ENS token could have utility that would earn yield that could fund the operations otherwise taken from ENS name owners via “rent” on something they are supposed to own.

My reasons for wanting to be a delegate:
I think ENS is the infrastructure of Web 3.0, and I hope to see in the future that every user has his own identity and can have all management permissions. I am willing to promote ENS for this incident.

My reasons for wanting to be a delegate: I co-lead giga a UNICEF+ITU project to connect every school in the world to the internet. A big part of that global connectivity is ensuring fair access to namespace and standards as the 50% of the world who isn’t connected gets connected. I would like to be a delegate to be part of these discussions and support a more fair, more open, and more decentralized future.

My web3 qualifications / skills: My team launched UNICEF’s crypto fund (the first fully native crypto-in/crypto-out investment fund in the public sector) dedicated to investing Eth (and btc) in digital public goods, with support from EF. More recently Giga) also supported by EF, has a full blockchain backend for accounting for school connectivity, is prototyping defi/eth2 staking for paying for connectivity, and has been involved in NFT development projects to engage more of the community in a giga-dao type network of supporters.

I hope to participate in the development of ENS on behalf of MJJ of Hostloc Forum. Hostloc is a global host exchange forum and also the largest host discussion site in China. MJJ is the self-claim of Hostloc members, who are highly creative people. As we all know, ENS is the earliest and greatest decentralized domain name system, MJJ believes that ENS will play a crucial role in the future of Web3.0 and firmly hold the .eth domain name. tokenomics of the ENS token could be given utility to provide such funding to eliminate the need to rent the domain you’re supposed to be the owner of.

My reasons for wanting to be a delegate: When I choose this domain address and took 10 years. I have faith that everyone in the space needs their own address, identity. I’m glad it goes to the next phase when I come abroad only for 3 months. I am here to support the development of Ens as said in my name. At least 10 years from now.

It’s clear to me we will have challenges in the future with the first clause (Name ownership) as people grab names that infringe copyright.

**My reasons for wanting to be a delegate: Web3 is the internet of our future—it is not only how we will identify, but how we will interact. I have immense passion for participating-in and contributing-to communities I have interests in and would love to direct some of that energy here.

  • Name ownership shall not be infringed: Agreed—without the ability to adjust fee structures an achilles heel is consequently introduced. We need the ability to do this with the vote of the community and with complete transparency
  • Fees are primarily an incentive mechanism: Agreed—similarly to the above… without this ability we are hindering the future potential and the ENS’ ability to achieve growth. We want development.
  • Income funds ENS and other public goods: Absolutely agree. What better way to advance our community that to use the community. With proper application processing and community input, grant funding will be extremely advantageous for this community.
  • ENS Integrates with the global namespace: Agree—it is imperative we integrate with the legacy DNS naming systems while maintaining decentralization to the best of its ability. The success of ENS will be strongly tied to the integration with the global namespace.
