My reasons for wanting to be a delegate: Web3 is ushering an entirely new world of opportunities in the way of decentralizing industries across the globe. It is leveling the playing field in unprecedented ways, allowing people to control their own data, identity and more. It is the most exciting thing to happen in decades, and I’m thrilled to be a part of it in ways I already am. I’d like to deepen my involvement in ways that contribute to the ongoing efforts to decentralize the internet and its many services so that we have options for a more open and more free existence on the internet, where innovation is unbridled.

  • Fees are primarily an incentive mechanism: Agree
  • Income funds ENS and other public goods: Agree - we should nurture innovations and cutting-edge advancements that are benefiting humanity.
  • ENS Integrates with the global namespace: Agree

My web3 qualifications / skills: I am not a developer, but I have experience operating several multi-million dollar companies as both an owner and executive. I have brought innovative marketing strategies to hundreds of companies, from local brick-and-mortar to multi-billion dollar global behemoths. I thrive on maximizing a teams potential, and can bring strategy and leadership to the table as it’s needed.

My reasons for wanting to be a delegate: I see ENS becoming much more than it already is and would love to play a role in governance and community contribution. I have educated people across various social media platforms on why ENS is so important, and have also grew up with a web2 developer for a Father. I’ve been involved in DNS and web development for most of my professional life and recently got into Ethereum development in 2019

My view on each section of the proposed ENS Constitution

  • Name ownership shall not be infringed: Agree - As long as we stick to an outlined goal for increasing or reducing fees of extension, I believe we can maintain a fair governance and give equal opportunity to new registers and long time holders.

  • Fees are primarily an incentive mechanism: Agree - I agree that fees act as a crowd fund for the DAO and helps improve the network. Fees also deter speculative investors and hoarders of ENS names which helps promote fair ownership of ENS.

  • Income funds ENS and other public goods: Agree - Funds should be allocated to community wallet and votes should be taken to ensure priority usage. Funding projects (or giving grants to start ups) unrelated to ENS should be allowed, as they can help advance Web3 as a whole. Development of the network and community ideas should be acted upon first.

  • ENS Integrates with the global namespace: Somewhat disagree - "ENS governance should grant control of a top-level domain to its owner in the DNS system on request."

I don’t really agree with this statement but I get the point behind it as long as we remain community driven and decentralized.

I’ve been involved in the crypto space since 2016 and have taken advanced learning classes on blockchain since 2020. I also am an Electrician but have started to pursue a Web3 career instead.

  • My whole career has been dedicated to a free and open internet, so I’m excited to be part of a project that stands wholly for that through web3 solutions. I currently the head of Infrastructure and security for a web2 company so I have a background on the network plumbing that has scaled tools in a seamless way.

My reasons for wanting to be a delegate: I see ENS will make easier for everyone in transaction. Usually we write eth address and got missing.with ENS Domain we are so benefited. I truly believe in the community aspect. I also truly believe in the divergence of opinions to find better ways on how to use Web3 and more specifically how to give back to people control of their identity into the blockchain space.
