ENS name: Soule.eth

TLDR: I created the first browser extension to resolve ENS websites in 2017: ENS Gateway: .Eth Domain Browser for Ethereum - Chrome Web Store
Also eth.show, the original “eth.link”,
and ETHSimple the oldest operating .eth registrar

My reasons for wanting to be a delegate: To protect the censorship resistant nature of ENS, and further ENS adoption in the greater web.

Attended the first ENS workshop in London.
OG ENS Contributor

ENS name: arqive.eth

My reasons for wanting to be a delegate:
I am a young person and want to play an active role in what I believe to be the centerpiece of digital identity in the age of Web 3. (For privacy reasons, I’ll keep it vague and just say that I’m under 30.) The last few years have filled me with doubt about the world’s future. I’ve seen the world gripped by conflict and power hungry, autocratic “leaders” who can’t help but make things worse for all but a select few. The only thing that has managed to fill me with hope is the acceleration of the NFT movement and Web 3. As the primary naming service on the block chain, ENS will play a crucial role in all things Web 3. As someone who isn’t technically fluent in the blockchain world, I see this as a unique chance for me to add value to the space. I am a member of MAYC because I believe BAYC will launch NFTs into the mainstream and drive adoption. I’m a believer in ENS because I have conviction that in a world of avatars “.eth” will serve as the cornerstone of one’s digital identity. I am committed to making it happen, and I humbly ask for your vote as ENS Delegate.

My view on each section of the proposed ENS Constitution:

  • Name ownership shall not be infringed: Agree
  • Fees are primarily an incentive mechanism: Agree
  • Income funds ENS and other public goods: Agree
  • ENS Integrates with the global namespace: Agree

My web3 qualifications / skills:
I will claim just shy of 400 $ENS. In my day-to-day I am an Amazon Seller with expertise in advertising and brand management. I take great joy in this job, but my heart lies with the metaverse.

ENS name: mikeshupp.eth

  • Income funds ENS and other public goods: Agree

My web3 qualifications / skills: I do not hold any experience in web3 but understand its value in the ecosystem and its importance for growth. I am a co-founder of a decentralized publishing platform that uses ENS and IPFS at its core. My role in developing the platform comes from my business acumen. I am a good listener, understand peoples needs and strongly feel that the ENS DAO community could benefit from a delegate with such mindset and skills.

I’d like to provide delegation to anyone in rural or underserved communities.

ENS name: flipsidecrypto.eth

My reasons for wanting to be a delegate: Flipside Crypto helps grow the crypto ecosystem through community-driven analytics and education. By providing analysts with free data and querying tools, our mission aligns with ENS’ goal of improving Ethereum through ownership and identity.

Flipside is multi-chained, supporting networks such as Ethereum, Polygon, Terra, & THORChain, with Arbitrum, Solana and many others on the way. Our Community-Enabled Analytics bounty programs support over 4,500 analysts, delivering on-demand insights across the ecosystem.

This expertise allows for shared knowledge of communities, liquidity, and user behavior across networks. We hope to rely on this information to better inform ENS governance votes and continue to build a competitive product.

We also have a dedicated Governance team, participating across protocols such as Aave, SushiSwap, Terra, and OlympusDAO, aimed at growing DAOs. We hope to bring this expertise, reputation, and full-time resources to ENS to improve governance and voting processes. By becoming an ENS delegate we expand our participation across DAOs and bring hands-on voting expertise, forum experience, and a robust team…

By partnering with Flipside Crypto, you receive the full stack of resources. In our spare time, we are genesis members of DAOs, yield farmers, Layer 1 devs, full anons, and NFT traders - and we are proud of this. Our discord can be found here: Flipside Crypto

We hope to continue to build the future of crypto with ENS DAO and committed governance efforts.

**ENS name: daeshawn.eth

**My reasons for wanting to be a delegate: ENS is one of the most important projects coming out of the web3 space. As a member of the developerdao and being a huge fan this space and technology in general, I want to be able to voice any concerns or show a vote of confidence for the developers who will be impacted by this project in the future through the votes that I maybe fortunate enough to collect. With domain names being a critical resource and tool in the development arsenal, I think it’s critical to be apart of this and grow with ENS overtime.

ENS name: HODLHQ.eth

Our reasons for wanting to be a delegate:

HODLHQ is a community driven brand, and we believe that we have the passion and ability to be an ENS Delegator. Branding is nearly impossible without the strength of ENS, and the individual identity of the members of our collective too. We STRONGLY believe ENS will be a must have for everyone in Web3.

Like any other digital good, a username should be under the complete control and ownership of it’s respective owner. As someone who has been involved in the “OG” username & domain community across many different platforms, I’m eager for the days where ENS domains become a standard across the web.

My web3 qualifications / skills: Similar to many people here, I’ve been involved in the cryptosphere since 2013 and more deeply involved within the Ethereum ecosystem since 2016. Awesome to see a core player like Coinbase applying for delegation!

ENS name: utopialabs.eth

My reasons for wanting to be a delegate:

We’ve been inspired by ENS’s approach to building meaningful products that eventually transition towards becoming public goods.

Utopia Labs wants to be a delegate to be able to support and offer any resources in regard to any of the scaling and operational challenges that come with managing the ENS DAO.

My reasons for wanting to be a delegate:
I want to explore the possibilities of ENS even more and the work team has done is amazing. I want to support the Core Ethos of ENS which is Decentralisation. I want to be a part of this historical community that puts everything aside to be the Public Good of the Web3.0 and provide us all with decentralised identities. I want to be a delegate to Experience DAO firsthand, as this would be my first DAO and I always wanted to learn more about DAOs. I will always represent Decentralisation.

ENS name: benmercer.eth

My reasons for wanting to be a delegate: Strong libertarian, pro-privacy and believer in the sovereign internet. ENS is the identity protocol of the future and we need ensure it that it retains these ideals.

My view on each section of the proposed ENS Constitution

  • Name ownership shall not be infringed: (Agree/Disagree/Comment) Hard agree
ENS users control governance, not the other way around.

  • Fees are primarily an incentive mechanism: (Agree/Disagree/Comment) Disagree
Yes, fees are an incentive mechanism, however we’re too early in the Metaverse to start picking winners and losers even in the form of incentives.

  • Income funds ENS and other public goods: (Agree/Disagree/Comment) Hard Disagree
Funds need to be allocated only to ENS/Ethereum related projects – “other public goods” opens up the coffers to potential politically motivated causes that are outside the scope of ENS and the mission of sovereign identity.

  • ENS Integrates with the global namespace: (Agree/Disagree/Comment) Disagree
We need to build ENS from the ground-up, there are too many entrenched powers in traditional DNS that would extend their influence into ENS if given the red carpet. Additionally, this is not a big enough of an issue to be included in the ENS Constitution.

My web3 qualifications / skills:
Fundamental technical understanding of cryptography

My web3 qualifications / skills:
I have been involved in the Ethereum ecosystem since 2017. I am coming from a specific angle to this field not as a developer, but active practitioner and project developer. I am a strong believer that web3 can help us create more fair, open and inclusive global infrastructures for science, education and global collaboration. I have been involved in the blockchain for science movement from its early beginnings, that now is increasingly called DeSci. In 2017 I discovered the AKASHA Project and spoke with the team about the potential of decentralised social media as a key component of a future way of science communication. Since 2018 I am working with the AKASHA team in product development and research. Currently I am working with the AKASHA team on ethereum world, a decentralised social media framework that also integrates with ENS:
https://akasha.ethereum.world/

I am also developing sciencefund a web3 based public goods funding initiative for basic scientific research that emerged out of Kernel Block 4.
