My reasons for wanting to be a delegate: Strong libertarian, pro-privacy and believer in the sovereign internet. ENS is the identity protocol of the future and we need ensure it that it retains these ideals.
My view on each section of the proposed ENS Constitution

Name ownership shall not be infringed: (Agree/Disagree/Comment) Hard agree
ENS users control governance, not the other way around. -
Fees are primarily an incentive mechanism: (Agree/Disagree/Comment) Disagree
Yes, fees are an incentive mechanism, however we’re too early in the Metaverse to start picking winners and losers even in the form of incentives. -
Income funds ENS and other public goods: (Agree/Disagree/Comment) Hard Disagree
Funds need to be allocated only to ENS/Ethereum related projects – “other public goods” opens up the coffers to potential politically motivated causes that are outside the scope of ENS and the mission of sovereign identity. -
ENS Integrates with the global namespace: (Agree/Disagree/Comment) Disagree
We need to build ENS from the ground-up, there are too many entrenched powers in traditional DNS that would extend their influence into ENS if given the red carpet. Additionally, this is not a big enough of an issue to be included in the ENS Constitution.
