Update from the Vyper team 16th October 2025 delivered on PG weekly call:
- Working on a new release of Vyper
- Translating Universal Resolver contract to Vyper - the work is intensive and will take approx. three months to complete - update will be given on the PG call
- Looking to hire more people and expand the team
- Presented at ETHTokyo and ran a Vyper workshop
- Working with Chinese community members on translations and content
- Building a developer community
- In talks with BuidlGuidl to be featured on some of the education materials
- Working on abstract methods and a lot of ongoing work on the backend
- Experimenting with compiling Vue - good results so far
- Improving developer experience
- Hosting several events this month in India and connecting with developers and educational bodies on the ground
