I apologize for the delayed update. I had a family emergency and was away for a few weeks.
We have made a lot of progress since our last post, but I can keep this update brief. Our draft ENSIP, including all of the recent updates, can be seen here.
Now that the standard is nearing completion, we have built an early preview version of an interface for viewing and updating metadata records. The interface can be found here, and documentation (including an explanation of how to set up records for different use cases) can be seen here.
Please feel free to try it out and configure metadata for some of your ENS nodes! Records are easy to update if you get something wrong or the standard changes in the near future, so don’t worry about making a mistake. However, if your wallet predicts it will cost a large amount of gas when attempting to broadcast a transaction, that could indicate an underlying problem and we recommend you cancel the operation.
