Why do you want to be a Steward of this Working Group?
Hi everyone, I’m Cameron O’Donnell, and I’m excited to apply for the ENS MetaGov Stewardship position. Over the past three years, I’ve been deeply involved in DAO governance, serving as the governance lead at Consensys, where I helped shape our governance strategies and processes.
Over the past 2 years, I participated as the third largest delegate at Uniswap, where I worked across delegates, working groups, and with the foundation to align governance stakeholders on various DAO topics. Previously at MakerDAO, we took a symbolic 1 MKR delegation to help influence critical decisions through reasoning and data, not just token weight. I also had the pleasure of leading the design and implementation of governance systems at core Consensys products; examples include designing Linea Governance and bootstrapping the MetaMask Grants DAO, an employee-only DAO that provides grants to builders developing MetaMask.
My hands-on experience extends beyond traditional DAO communities. I’ve advised Fortune 100 enterprises on navigating decentralized governance, gaining valuable insights on designing inclusive, adaptable structures. These roles have given me a broad governance network that spans major platforms, builders, and cross-protocol delegates—something I’m eager to bring to ENS.
As an ENS user for 3+ years, I’ve witnessed the protocol’s remarkable growth and integral role within the Ethereum ecosystem. ENS has consistently set the standard for community-driven decision-making, Ethereum principles, and long-term sustainability planning. The past year’s significant achievements and milestones reaffirm that ENS continues to thrive, and I’m inspired by the opportunity to support its continued success.
Other Information
If elected, I am committed to leveraging my governance experience, strong network, and passion for ENS to help the protocol evolve in ways that reflect its values and the community’s voice. Together, we can maintain ENS’s leadership, adapt to new challenges, and forge a more transparent, inclusive future for the ecosystem.
