Why do you want to be a steward of this Working Group:

I continue to be deeply committed to transforming the approach to public goods (PG) in the broader ecosystem. I would like to improve the work started this term with the PG workstream but far expand upon it.

Given my extensive background working towards PG funding experimentation and my current role as advisor to key public goods proponents like Optimism, I continue to bring a broad and complex perspective to the matter. An extended stewardship term will continue to enable me to dive into long term strategy work vs short term deployment of funding.

Contributions and Credentials:

As a testament to my commitment to public goods, during the current term, I:

  • Created the Perpetual Public Goods Bounty that rewarded three public goods projects. This initiative supplemented funding during gaps between small and large grant windows.

  • Launched a collaboration with ETHGlobal in partnership with the Ecosystem working group, distributing free domain names to first-time hackers across the ETHGlobal 2024 circuit, promoting web3 integration for newcomers and their journey into building public goods.

  • Initiated and co-created the Builders Platform in collaboration with Build Guild to develop perpetual funding sources for builders at every stage of their journey, from start to growth.

  • Collaborated with Giveth on a funding round through the Giveth platform.

  • Supported Large Grants, delivering almost $300k in funding to impactful projects, including Firefly, ScaffoldETH, Rotki, GasHawk, Borderless Africa, Urbe Campus, and more.

  • Promoted and sustained the conversation around public goods and PG funding by ENS, speaking on panels and delivering talks throughout the 2024 event circuit, supporting the effective deployment of funds to impactful projects in the ecosystem.

Background and Experience:

  • Head of Governance Strategy for Gitcoin (2021-2022)
  • Advisor to Optimism Foundation with involvement in RetroPGF experimentation
  • Former ENS Meta Gov Steward and current Public Goods lead Steward

This combination of advisory roles and direct contributions has solidified my understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the ecosystem. I am well-equipped to help ENS achieve its public goods mission and expand its impact.

Thank you for your support!
