Public Goods Working Group Steward Nominations Term 6 (Calendar 2025)

Why do you want to be a Steward of this Working Group?

Hello there, my name is Eduardo and I have been in the ENS DAO for the past three years. The main reason for me want to be Steward for the Public Goods Working group can be resumed in one word: Continuity.

For the past year and a half I have served the DAO with one single focus: fund public goods. No politics, just execute the mandate from the ENS constitution. For that single purpose we did education, mentoring, funding, provide talks and conferences, talk with hundreds of people and lobbied about how ENS DAO is funding public goods for the benefit of the web3 ecosystem. We provided more than one million in funds across so many different initiatives: SheFI, TE Academy, RevokeCash, Urbe.eth, Ethereum Cat Herders, EthRome, EthLatam, EthGuatemala and so many more. The results of all this efforts led us to this point now, where we realized that builders for public goods are the most underfunded community and resource in the ecosystem, therefore we finished experimenting with different funding mechanisms and put all our learnings and efforts towards a single platform: Builder.ensgrants.xzy.

And honestly, I would like to bring home that project, and see it thriving. Hence my desire for continuity: People need to know that ENS isn’t only about domains, but a lead example of giving back and fund what matters.

My commitment to this mission has taken me to places like EthTokyo or EthLatam in Honduras, where I provided easy to access, low barrier entry, information for many communities who weren’t aware about our grants program or the simple need of Public Goods and what they were.

Being a Public Goods Steward isn’t about sitting on a call one hour per week, is about taking the mandate of the DAO as deep as it can go, to work on awareness and outreach so no matter what you are building, as long as its impactful and provide value to the ecosystem, you can join that one hour call and find a place that provide you a path to keep building.

Any other information you wish to share with Delegates (e.g. potential conflicts or existing engagements)

No conflict of interest as of now. For those who associate me with dm3.network, I no longer work at the project.

In case of any confusion, I also use Eduardo.eth.

If you have read until this point, thank you for taking the time.
