Purchase ENS with legacy Tx

Hey folks,

I know this is not exactly a bug but i was not sure if there was another section that would fit the topic better.

I am trying to buy an ENS domain using a trezor model T and I get an error due to the EIP1559 Tx type. Is there anyway to do a legacy Tx? Maybe i can interact with the old contract directly before it was upgraded for eip1559 tx?

I would really appreciate some help on how to make this purchase, or a work around. Of course I can use a hot wallet, but I dont want to spend the gas moving everything around if possible.

Hi,

You can downgrade MetaMask until a hotfix is released - if you’re willing to use Firefox.
Just disable automatic updates for the extension and connect your hardware wallet the same way as usual.
