What do you want to build on ENS?
As ENS grows in popularity, with thousands of supporting apps and hundreds of thousands of users in web3, there’s a pressing need for an ENS hub to make sense of this expansion.
To address this, I propose two key initiatives: 1) Creating a user-friendly web application to showcase and explore apps, tools and services that support or are built on ENS, and 2) Establishing “ENS Hub” on Twitter and Farcaster to engage with the community and share insights, updates, and success stories around apps building on top of ENS or that have integrated ENS.
1. ENS Ecosystem Page
I want to develop a web application that will serve as a central hub for discovering and exploring the diverse apps, tools, and services within the ENS landscape. The Ecosystem Page will begin with a comprehensive mapping of the current ENS ecosystem and will grow over time.
Some of its key Features:
- Detailed App/Service Profiles: Offering in-depth information on each app and service part of the ENS ecosystem, emphasizing their integration with ENS or how they support it.
- Search Engine: Fast and efficient discovery of ENS-related apps, tools, and services thanks to a built-in search engine.
- Filters and Sorting: Allowing users to navigate through the ENS ecosystem by filtering by blockchain and type of app/tool/service - such as wallets, browsers, NFT marketplaces, and more.
- Mobile Responsiveness: Designed with mobile users in mind, ensuring all features — from filters and sorting to the search engine — work seamlessly on various devices.
- Self-registration: Allowing developers to add their app/tool/service to the Ecosystem Page.
2. ENS Hub on Twitter & Farcaster
In addition to the ENS Ecosystem Page, it’s crucial to engage with the broader Twitter and Farcaster communities. To achieve this, I plan to set up dedicated ‘ENS Hub’ pages on these platforms. These pages will not only complement the web app but also play a vital role in sharing updates about ENS, showcasing success stories, and keeping the community informed and involved. This approach is aimed at fostering a more interconnected and informed ENS community.
Conclusion
Combining the ENS Ecosystem Page with active engagement on Twitter and Farcaster, aims to enhance accessibility and navigation within the ENS ecosystem. By making it easier to explore and understand ENS, I seek to drive broader adoption and deepen the overall comprehension of the diverse applications and opportunities ENS offers.
Past experience working on ENS:
I am well-suited to lead the development of an ENS ecosystem page, for two primary reasons:
- Web3xplorer Creator: I created Web3xplorer, a free directory cataloging over 900 web3 apps from Ethereum and its layer 2 solutions. More than just a directory, it provides detailed app descriptions, features, previews, and direct links, all in an easy-to-navigate, mobile-optimized web app with a robust search engine and filters.
- Skills and Passion: My background as a Business Analyst in large digital projects and as a software developer gives me a unique mix of business insight and technical know-how. Coupled with my active involvement in web3 since 2017, I’m committed to building intuitive, user-friendly solutions that encourage wider engagement with web3 and ENS.
Additionally, understanding the importance of community engagement, I plan to collaborate with a professional experienced in managing and growing online communities. This will ensure our presence on Twitter and Farcaster, through the “ENS Hub” profiles, is not only informative but also actively engages with and grows the ENS community.
Size of team and commitment
The project will be driven by a compact and specialized team of three:
- Lead Developer (Myself): As the Lead Developer, I will dedicate my full-time efforts to both the front-end and back-end development of the project. My role is to ensure that the ENS ecosystem page is not only technically robust but also aligns seamlessly with user needs and expectations.
- Designer (Contract Basis): Upon funding, I plan to hire a skilled designer on a contract basis. Their expertise will be instrumental not just in creating a visually appealing interface but also in ensuring an optimal user experience (UX). Their periodic involvement will be strategically aligned with different phases of the project’s design, enhancing both aesthetics and functionality.
- Copywriter / Community Builder (3-4 days/week): Additionally, with the funding, I will bring on board a proficient copywriter who is also well-versed in web3 and experienced in community building and social media management. Their role will be multifaceted: crafting engaging content for the ENS ecosystem page, managing the dedicated Twitter/Farcaster accounts, and actively engaging with our audience.
This team composition ensures a balanced approach, with each member contributing essential skills for the project’s success.

Conflict of interest statement
I confirm that there would be no conflicts of interest if I am chosen to build and maintain the ENS Ecosystem Page project and Twitter/Farcaster socials. My involvement is dedicated exclusively to this project, with no current engagements in other DAO-funded initiatives or roles that might present a conflict. Additionally, I am committed to maintaining this standard of transparency and will promptly disclose any potential conflicts that may arise in the future.

Budget Requested
I am requesting a budget of $100,000 USD per annum, in line with the minimum increment specified in the guidelines. This budget is intended to cover the costs associated with the development, design, and ongoing maintenance of the ENS Ecosystem Page. Additionally, it includes the expenses for content creation and the active management of our Twitter and Farcaster profiles, ensuring we engage effectively with the community.
