Executable Proposals:
-
[Executable] Enable Root and Registrar Security Controllers
This proposal introduces two “break-glass” security controllers for ENS: a RootSecurityController to quickly disable a compromised TLD, and a RegistrarSecurityController to disable faulty .eth registrars, enabling rapid emergency action without waiting for full DAO votes. -
[Executable] Transfer $2.5M USDC from Endowment to wallet.ensdao.eth
This proposal authorizes a one-time internal transfer of 2.5M USDC from the ENS Endowment to the DAO timelock to execute already-approved governance actions, prevent SPP stream liquidations, and avoid selling ETH under current market conditions while preserving treasury flexibility. -
[Executable] Register on.eth to the ENS DAO wallet and set the resolver
This proposal registers on.eth to the ENS DAO wallet and sets its resolver to an on-chain Chain Registry-Resolver, creating a canonical, decentralized source for blockchain metadata. It grants then removes temporary controller rights to execute registration and resolver configuration. -
[Executable] Replace DNSSEC oracle algorithms
This proposal replaces vulnerable DNSSEC RSA algorithms to patch a critical signature forgery flaw affecting .cc and .name, safely re-enables those TLDs, and upgrades P-256 to the new precompile—cutting gas ~98%. It includes 7 timelock transactions updating oracle contracts and restoring secure DNS claims.
Social Proposals:
- [Social] Delegation Incentives Program
This proposal launches a 90-day ENS incentives pilot paying active delegates and their delegators to boost sustained voting power. Rewards use time-weighted balances, caps limit concentration, a 1 ENS floor avoids micro-payouts, and sub-1 ENS amounts enter a lottery to deter sybils and raise DAO security.
