Why do you want to be a Steward of this Working Group?

After 2 years as a DAO member and a Delegate and 1 year as a Service Provider (founder of Namespace), I believe I’m very well equipped with the knowledge and skills for this role.

I continuously bring new opportunities to ENS and onboard new people and projects. My main focus is 1) making subnames easy to use, 2) bringing new integrations and partnerships, and 3) fostering a builder-friendly ecosystem culture.

ENS contributions:

  1. Platform - for subname issuance and management
  2. Namespace SDK - for easily integrating L2 Subname registration in other projects (live on Ethereum, Base, Optimism)
  3. Offchain Subname API - easiest way to start issuing offchain subnames.
  4. ENS Widget - allowing people to issue subnames from their websites
  5. Farcaster frames - enabled subname minting through frames for everyone.
  6. Some integrations - Added ENS support at Web3js, Tatum, and QuickNode.
  7. Some partnerships - Unicorn wallet,
  8. First to launch subname minting on Base and Optimism
  9. ENS white-label solution - building custom Subname registration websites.
  10. Hosted an ENS event and gave a talk - Scaling ENS to 1B users.
  11. Writing about ENS at mirror.xyz/thecap.eth

To say that I learned a lot about ENS (protocol and the DAO) in the last 2 years would be an understatement. I’ve dedicated 12 hours every single day to building cool stuff on ENS, learning about the entire ecosystem and community, and honing my DAO-related skills.

Furthermore, with the Namechain on the horizon, I believe ENS is slowly transitioning into a new (identity) era. The Ecosystem working group will have to expand its approach to include a refined framework of how we think, reach, and cultivate the ecosystem, bring new builders, and increase utility and economic activity.

If I get elected, it would be my pleasure to continue building on top of the great foundational work laid by amazing stewards before me and bring more ideas to the table that strengthen and grow ENS as a protocol, DAO, brand, and soon a chain!

Any other information you wish to share with Delegates (e.g. potential conflicts or existing engagements)?

I’m currently an official Service Provider with Namespace and plan to reapply again. Previously, that hasn’t been a conflict, but if it becomes in the future, I will revoke my Steward application/position.
