ENS name: ignasdefi.eth
My reasons for wanting to be a delegate:
I’m Ignas, a solo DeFi researcher focused on producing clear, in-depth analysis and actively contributing to DAO governance.
I believe in a decentralized future, where governance is driven by informed participation from a broad community - not concentrated among a small group of professional or insider delegates. Today, many DAOs suffer from voter apathy, vote concentration, and misaligned incentives that prioritize short-term speculation over long-term protocol health.
I want to serve as an ENS delegate to help counter these trends by:
- Supporting governance processes that are transparent, resilient, and community-driven
- Encouraging broader participation from individual token holders
- Advocating for incentive alignment between token holders and the protocol, including sustainable value accrual mechanisms where appropriate
Without meaningful community participation, DAOs risk becoming no different from Web2 organizations that treat their “community” as passive users rather than stakeholders. ENS, as core infrastructure for Web3 identity, should set a high standard for decentralized governance.
I will also actively communicate key governance decisions and votes to a wider audience via X and my blog, as many important DAO actions often go unnoticed by the broader ecosystem.
My view on each section of the proposed ENS Constitution:
-
Name ownership shall not be infringed: Agree
-
Fees are primarily an incentive mechanism: Agree
-
Income funds ENS and other public goods: Agree
-
ENS integrates with the global namespace: Agree
My web3 qualifications / skills:
- Solo DeFi researcher with a strong focus on governance, tokenomics, and protocol sustainability
- Co-founder of Pink Brains, an organization dedicated to promoting various crypto projects through educational content.
- Active delegate across multiple major DAOs, including: Lido. Instadapp, Arbitrum, Aave, Uniswap, Velora, Rootstock Collective,…
Conflicts of Interest:
I always make appropriate disclosures and recuse myself from voting when necessary.
