2. Project Highlights

2.1. ENScribe update

  • Conor and Nishal shared an update from ENScribe.
  • They’ve been focused on contract naming with ENS for over a year.
  • There are a couple of weeks left for the contract naming season initiative.
  • The goal is to bring more projects, teams, and enterprises onto ENS.
  • Launched New Platform Dashboard
    • The goal is to make it easy for Web2 organizations to establish a Web3 identity on ENS and provide onchain identity for everyone in the organization.
    • Mainnet is coming soon, currently in testing for collabs and feedback.
  • Key Features and Functionality
    • No constant wallet connection is needed, only required for importing the wallet and granting manager access.
    • Users can import existing DNS records to ENS.
    • You can create multisig with ENScribe, with ENScribe smart sessions coming soon.
    • Creating organization / onboarding is pretty simple with nice UX.
  • Multisig Options
    • ENScribe Multisig: Requires signing for changes, suitable for enhanced security.
    • ENScribe allows manager access, with gasless transactions handled by contracts in the background.
  • Manager Access and Team Management
    • Transferring manager access to the ENScribe contract does not relinquish ownership.
    • Team members can be invited and added to the organization.
  • Name Management
    • Users can easily navigate their namespace.
    • New subnames can be created directly.
  • Text Records and Org Metadata
    • The platform is working towards compatibility with Lighthouse team’s Org metadata.
    • This will allow users to directly select a category (person, contract, agent) and add a schema.
  • All changes can be reviewed before execution for security.
  • Transactions are gasless, with the ENScribe contract handling the fees.
  • Users can view pending, completed, and failed steps.
  • API keys with limited scopes can be created for AI agents or developers.
  • Scopes can be set to restrict actions like writing records or creating subnames.
  • The ENScribe CLI and skill can be imported and installed in AI agents.
