1. ENS Labs Updates

  • Mely was in Prague talking about ENS
  • ICANN meeting is in Prague next week, and ENS Labs will be there.
  • Progress on ENSv2 contracts continues.
  • Simon joined ENS Labs as the Lead DevRel! :partying_face:
  • ENS will be at ethCC and doing the ETHGlobal hackathon.

ENScribe update

  • Search bar is live!
  • You can search for any ENS names.
  • Uses ENS subgraph and ENSNode
  • Shows the associated ENS names to the searched name
  • Works for both names and contracts that are named!

  • Ongoing discussion on the forum about l2.eth and 2-letter names.
  • The default chain ID idea was proposed by Steve.
  • Follow along and/or contribute HERE.

  • Reverse registrars will be added on L2s and a default reverse registrar on L1.

  • Vibe shift on ENS this year.

  • Ongoing conversation about OpenBox’s investment proposal and work around Open Domain Protocol.
  • Rise of competitors landscape was addressed.
  • .eth is the strongest brand and the best protocol!
