1. Project Highlights

@lightwalker.eth from https://namehashlabs.org

Goal is to help ENS Grow by bringing ENS onboarding directly to every wallet and Web3 app; integration with biggest wallets e.g. MetaMask

  • Today launching Name Guard! https://nameguard.io
  • “Just because a NFT names itself “nick.eth” doesn’t mean it’s an ENS name. NameGuard makes it easy to stop fake ENS NFTs from being sold on NFT marketplaces. Let’s put an end to these scams !”
  • “NameGuard offers a detailed 12 point-inspection on any ENS name, including NameWrapper fuses, offchain names, and DNS compatibility. Ensure no shocking disappointments after purchase.”
  • Demo with XMTP on website (just because get a message from someone named “vitalik.eth” doesn’t mean it’s actually the real Vitalik. NameGuard shows an impersonation)
  • NameHash Labs · GitHub for documentation; open and public API on AWS
  • Coming Soon: Identification of dangerous name configurations, ENS autorenew, ENS profile completion scores, and ENS webfont
  • NameKit: not releasing today but releasing smart contracts: GitHub - namehash/namekit-contracts: Earn revenue for helping ENS grow
    • Incentivizing growth of ENS in numerous ways

@hidayath.eth from ENS

  • Building extension that allows one to have a ‘.eth’ name resolve in web browsers
  • Will make open-source and share soon

2. Update on the ENS Streams: dates, rules and implementation

  • Please read above post from @avsa.eth and submit by replying through the thread
  • Currently accepting applications
  • Submission deadline 1 December; voting 10 December

3. Weekly Review of Canny

Engagement and upvoting on Canny are helpful, offering direct feedback to ENS Labs & Working Groups that benefit the ENS protocol. ENS.canny.io includes feature requests, integrations, bug reports, and community upvoting. Read more on the :scroll: Forum here.
