ENS needs to add address resolution for Damus users. Damus is currently overloaded with spam, which affects users. The next step for Damus should be to develop a whitelist feature. The next step for Damus should be to develop a whitelist feature where users can view only the posts of bloggers they follow and block out spam. If Damus is accepted by the market and develops successfully. Bloggers could be offered random bounties to attract followers and increase their reach. At that point. There will be a need for bloggers to use their own individual IDs, rather than usernames, which can be easily spoofed by others.
