6. TUM blockchain presentation
Shouvik Ghosh presenting from University of Munich
- Founded club 2 years ago, non-profit and student run
- Around 45 members
- Organizing 2nd annual TUM blockchain conference
- September 12-13 in Munich
- Connect students, researchers, policy makers, and entrepreneurs
- Last year had over 1000 attendees
- This year’s main tracks: Education, Research, and Applications
- Want ENS to be a part of the conference through speakers, workshops, etc. as well as sponsorship
- Some of the activities the club does throughout the year: Notion – The all-in-one workspace for your notes, tasks, wikis, and databases.
- Speaker application: Speaker Application @ TUM Blockchain Conference 2024
- Have had success in the event/club bringing people fully into the blockchain ecosystem
- 100+ grants last year meant that students who couldn’t afford to attend would be able to attend. Want to increase the ability for people to get grants to travel to and attend the event
- Will send 1-pager over to stewards and discuss next steps to move forward

Large Grants

- Submit project and milestones on Questbook: https://ens.questbook.app/
- Generally rating projects that have demonstrated impact, large grants not best place for an idea unless team has track record of building high impact projects. Provide as much details/context on application as possible
