As many have noticed, eth.link expired earlier today. Thanks to the heroic efforts of Mark Jeftovic of EasyDNS it’s now back in operation and safe to use.
eth.link is owned by Virgil Griffith. I’ve previously reached out to his family about transferring it to TNL for safe custody, but I’ve renewed my efforts today to get it somewhere it can be safely held and renewed on time.
I didn’t realize this was Virgil’s, I thought it was yours.
That could make it tricky. I’ll see what I can do from my end, at the least perhaps they will let me do a 10 year renewal and we can just kick the can for awhile.
The NS of the ETH.LINK domain was modified today
So the entire service is now faulty
It looks like he’s moving NS to an address that will only be used when the domain expires, but the domain expires next year
I wonder what happened
