Fiat on-ramp update?

Back in August @khori.eth mentioned a fiat on-ramp is in the works, and coming very soon:

Is there any update on this? @nick.eth
This would be a good way to hedge the treasury against the unpredictable price action of ETH. Maybe even start accepting some stablecoins? Is that an option?

Even if the ENS app added a fiat onramp, the protocol itself only accepts ETH, and that needs to remain the case (censorship risk, for one)!

Fiat on-ramp is actively being worked on now and will either be included in the new app on launch or very soon after.
