Introducing KAMIKO: Open-Source ENS Marketplace Stack

Hey everyone,

I’m excited to announce KAMIKO, a new open-source project I’ve been developing over the past few months.

Website: https://www.kamiko.io/
Testnet Demo: https://testnet.kamiko.io/

What is KAMIKO?

KAMIKO is a complete end-to-end stack designed to simplify the deployment and operation of ENS marketplaces using the Seaport protocol (GitHub - ProjectOpenSea/seaport: Seaport is a marketplace protocol for safely and efficiently buying and selling NFTs.). The project consolidates ~3 years of experience and learnings from building and maintaining vision.io (https://x.com/ensvision).

Current Status

A minimal testnet environment is now live for testing and feedback. The codebase is not yet public as I’m working to ensure a clean, well-documented solution before releasing it under the MIT license.

Roadmap

  1. Testnet with orderbook implementation - Create listings and offers (current phase)
  2. Production deployment support - Assisting a team with their production launch (in progress)
  3. OpenSea order aggregation - Integration with OpenSea’s existing liquidity
  4. ENS L2 support - Full compatibility once ENS L2 launches

Project Goals

The primary objective is to lower the barrier to entry for launching ENS marketplaces by providing a robust, production-ready foundation that teams can deploy and customize for their needs.

Important Notes

  • I do not plan to host a production instance myself
  • I will not be affiliated with any parties deploying KAMIKO in production
  • This is purely a technical contribution to the ENS ecosystem

Feedback Requested

I’m currently seeking feedback and suggestions, particularly regarding the frontend user experience. Feel free to explore the testnet (at your own risk with Sepolia ETH :slightly_smiling_face:) and share your thoughts.

Bug reports, feature suggestions, and general feedback are all welcome.

Thank you!
