Service Provider Program: Discussion on Vote Results, Timeline, and Metagov Facilitation
3.1. Metagov Call structuring

Almost 100% funds allocation
TWAP update: almost 2.4k ETH sold so far at an average price of $2,670.
Diversifying the endowment and having stables guarantees a certain amount for ENS operations.
Blockful completed the call data verification.
- Discussion around whether to put it up for a vote before the Service Provider votes or bundle them together.

Aggregates offchain and onchain governance data and presents it through data visualization.
Due to ENS DAO Support - the improved app includes:
- Token holdings data
- Analytics rehaul and improvements
- Information related to voters and voting power

Inquiry about how to apply to the Service provider program by Arnold from Lighthouse.
Inquiry + introduction about the Lighthouse proposal are here.
Clarification is needed on the actual process to submit a Service Provider grant.

Discussion around whether proposals should be in one thread or in separate threads to allow for comments and discussion for each application.
Master thread with Summaries of all applicants was suggested + a directory of links to individual proposals.
A post with Key Dates for the Service Provider Program should be public!
Last year there were 35 applicants.

The intent is for anti-fragility for ENS.
The goal is to ensure the ENS protocol and DAO would thrive even if ENS labs no longer existed.
@AvsA’s mental model: at least 10 incredible teams building on the protocol to anchor the ecosystem.
The minimum request amount is set to $300k because we want proven teams, not unproven one-person dev shops.

Should there be a distinction between people building the protocol, building things like subnames infrastructure, building apps, and governance-related improvements for the DAO?
Suggestion to have AvsA, Metagov team, and/or others answer questions for those planning to apply for the Service Provider program, possibly as part of MetaGov weekly call sometime.
A question raised about whether an RFP or list of priorities from Nick or someone from Labs would help applicants understand the direction of the Service Provider program.
- There is support for this idea, as more information is seen as beneficial.
Service provider tag/category for service providers suggested for keeping up with the updates on the Forum.
Metagov will be there to support everyone throughout the entire time.

@netto.eth discusses improving coordination inside the DAO as a goal for MetaGov this year.
Delegates seem positive about committing to one MetaGov call a month.
The idea is to have an all-hands delegate call during the first MetaGov call of the month.
This aims to improve coordination without increasing the agenda.

Extending newsletter to Spaces.
It extends the bi-weekly ENS newsletter into a live discussion space.
It will focus on builders and contributions to the ENS protocol.
The first session is this Friday at 11 am ET with @netto.eth and @cap.
In general, this initiative aims to do live discussion Spaces to cover:
- Latest ENS developments
- Builder discussions
- Talking in the open
Join the first Commons Space this Friday!

Coordinate with Labs, MetaGov, Marcus, and Cap to aim for a Metagov call next week and update everyone through forums and ENS DAO socials.
There will be separate calls for the service provider program and all-hands delegate meetings.
