A) Gitcoin GR15 - ENS Ecosystem Round - Next Steps

  • GR15 has closed. The Public Goods contributed 50k in the main round and 50k in the advocacy round.
  • As the funding is tallied, the working group will better understand how these contributions have made an impact.
  • If you submitted a project, expect communications from Gitcoin. The process of verifying funding recipients takes approximately two weeks. Funds will be distributed sometime during the first half of October.
  • Please be sure to keep your grant updated. Projects can still receive funding outside of an official Gitcon Grants round.
  • Pending review of the impact, the Public Goods Working group will target funding additional cause rounds in December’s GR16.

B) Small Grants update https://www.ensgrants.xyz/

  • Voting is LIVE! Please vote by 11:59 GMT on September 30th.
  • There are approximately 30 projects in each round this month.
  • The voting strategy is Approval Voting, with ERC-20 with Override. This implementation allows ENS holders to vote on multiple projects individually, even if they have delegated their votes.
  • Any bugs or feedback can be directly reported to @gskril or @coltron. The October round will use Github Issues to address bugs or UI implementation.
  • This project is open source. Pull requests are welcome!

C) Update on Upcoming PG WG Meetings, Funding Requests, and Funding Framework

  • The working group stewards plan to restructure the meeting dates and times.
  • The intended outcome is to have Meta-gov occur as the first call of the week. This flow allows ENS Updates from nick.eth that can be brought to the following working group calls later in the week.
