Proposal: Spanish-Language ENS Education Campaign (Evangelization & Outreach)

Hello ENS DAO,

I’m imrulo.eth, and I’m a native Spanish speaker and long-time Ethereum & ENS supporter.

I’d like to submit a community initiative idea and ask for support—not just in funds, but in visibility and recognition.

:earth_africa: The Problem

The Latin American and global Spanish-speaking communities are highly vulnerable to closed ecosystems like Unstoppable Domains and Brave’s new .brave, due to marketing tactics like ā€œeasy,ā€ ā€œcheap,ā€ ā€œfree,ā€ and pre-integrated wallets.

These platforms are spreading fast among users who are not technically educated, and there is very little ENS educational content in Spanish that explains the importance of open standards and digital sovereignty.

:dart: The Mission

I want to launch a Spanish-language ENS education and evangelization campaign—not to sell domains, but to teach what ENS is, how it works, and why it’s essential for a decentralized web.

Think of it as a digital literacy movement focused on Web3 and identity.

:handshake: Why I need your support

Doing this alone is hard. I have my own work and responsibilities, and translating technical knowledge into cultural understanding takes time and deep context.

But with ENS DAO support, I can dedicate real time to this—researching, translating, writing, recording, engaging on social, and organizing content and events focused on Spanish-speaking audiences across Latin America, the U.S., and beyond.

:bulb: What I’d do with DAO support

• Create explainer threads and videos in Spanish

• Host Twitter/X Spaces and interviews with ENS users

• Build beginner-friendly content for Latino creators, devs, and users

• Counter misleading narratives from closed competitors

• Serve as a cultural bridge for future ENS adoption in the Spanish-speaking world

 I ask the DAO to consider me as a cultural advocate—an ENS paladin in Spanish -

Not just for one proposal, but as someone committed long-term to helping ENS grow with integrity and cultural reach.

Thanks for considering,
imrulo.eth

I see the value, but what specifically is the pitch - how much do you need, what are you going to do with the money, and how will you quantify success?

The ecosystem working group call on Thursdays would probably be a good platform through which to pitch this: ā˜Žļø ENS Ecosystem – Weekly Meeting: 11am ET, Thursday – Term 6

Thanks for the thoughtful reply!

Yes - I’m currently refining the specifics (budget breakdown, timeline, success metrics). I plan to present it as a pilot campaign: 3 months, €6,000, with clear deliverables and a strong focus on education and measurable impact.

Happy to join the Ecosystem Working Group call this Thursday to pitch it live. Would love to get feedback and build it together with the community.

All are welcome to join the weekly ecosystem call.
