1. General DAO Updates
September Voting Window
September DAO Voting Window
- Two onchain proposals are currently in voting and end on October 4 at approximatley 7:30PM ET
2. ENS Grants Applicant Presentation
Ethereum Follow Protocol | @Brantly
Ethereum Follow Protocol (EFP) is a decentralized protocol that enables Ethereum accounts to manage tagged lists of other Ethereum accounts. Use cases include a web3 social graph native to the Ethereum community, web of trust, lists of trusted smart contracts for critical dapps, onchain follow trading, and more.
- The vision Brantly shares is that ethereum has an emerging web3 identity stack. This includes SIWE, ENS, NFT profile pictures, etc. and what it is missing is a way to form relationships between accounts.
- This approach is contrary to current populus protocols that attempt to own the whole identity stack. EFP would work in conjunction, and even compliment, ENS
- EFP is looking for a grant from the Public Goods working group as he sees it is important to maintain the integrity of the project and keep undue influence of investors away
- Grant would go to the salaries of the developers to attain full time working status on the project
- To support and stay up to date, Follow EFP on X
Quadratic Funding on Givieth | Lauren Luz & Jacob Schumacher
Giveth is an open, non-hierarchical global initiative empowering social, environmental, and humanistic impact projects with modern technologies.
- Giveth and the Public Goods working group are exploring an ENS matching pool that would match donations to projects included in the round
- This design helps get funding into the hands of the projects that the community really wants to support
