I am attempting to register an ipfs hash to a subdomain. I have succeeded on the root domain, as a temporary expedient. But I want to register a dev.exampleens.eth content hash. This appears to work, BUT when clicking confirm metamask does not launch a modal to sign the transaction when doing this on a subdomain.
I am running Version 1.18.51 Chromium: 87.0.4280.49 (Official Build) beta (x86_64) of Brave and the latest metamask extension.
I confirmed that the workflow will work on the root ens name.
Any suggestions on ways to accomplish this until the gui is fixed?
