Since this proposal isn’t going in RnDAOs direction by a big and clear margin (2-9), I’ll encourage you to engage with the community and explicitly ask people what their concerns are. I am guessing the main concern is the timing of the research work and most people think that this is too early to draw samples. That is fair assessment. In the true spirit of the DAO, you now have to engage in a dialogue.
Alternatively, you can draft a custom research proposal for ENS (and ENS only) which will be much more contained and specific to the current state of ENS DAO; I expect that such a proposal will require significantly less funds, less manpower & time from RnDAO and should provide the ENS DAO with actionable surveys right away (for upcoming elections, for instance).
