ENS v2 Research ongoing
frENS Day
- https://frensday.ens.domains/

Multi-delegate Manager
- Delegating ENS is currently zero-sum game, split across multiple accounts or send to single address
- Using new contract scheme can generate proxy NFTs that simulate a vote
- Can split delegation any which way in a single transaction
- By making governance more dynamic, making it easier to participate
- Code complete, need to finish testing
- Aim is to release soon
2. Project Highlights
@slobo.eth presenting
Voting Power
- Two Updates:
- Added governance statistics for onchain voting
- Clicking on someones name gives historical view of voting power and how it’s changed over time
- Repo with tooling
- Now has library support, shows which libraries support ENS fully
Daniel Adebimpe presenting Persona
- Turn your PFPs into unique identities. Pick a web3 name, join a guild, and verify with social accounts. Create unlimited profiles, all in your wallet.
- Resolves ENS and lets you build avatar
- Goal is to create a primitive for identity
- Want to connect with these to other dApps and generate a reputation score
- Utilizes Token bound accounts
- Relatively new standard, gives every NFT a deterministic address and bounds an account to it
- ERC-6551: Non-fungible Token Bound Accounts
- Integrating EFP next
- Currently on Sepolia, will be on Mainnet and Base soon
- Socials: x.com

- @nxt3d on twitter
- @netto.eth recently published to forum: [Draft] ENSIP-##: Wildcard writing
- This ENSIP proposes a standardized Offchain Resolver interface for managing offchain domains within the Ethereum Name Service (ENS) ecosystem. It addresses the growing trend of storing domains off the Ethereum blockchain to reduce transaction fees while maintaining compatibility with existing ENS components. The proposal outlines methods for domain registration, transferring, and setting records, ensuring a consistent approach to offchain domain management.
- Goal is for standard to be implemented ecosystem-wide
- Repo: ensips/ensips/TBD.md at 683872a4506d27dce971cef6c2cca37554fea04d · ensdomains/ensips · GitHub
- Building on top of this EIP: ERC-5559: Cross Chain Write Deferral Protocol
7. Open Space for Additional Topics
Steve Katzman on Multi-address resolution
- GitHub - stevieraykatz/multiaddress-resolver: Proposal for a Multiaddress ENS Resolver
- Associating multiple addresses back to a name
- This should allow a user to collate their onchain identity within a single namespace
- Get users onchain and interacting with dApps quicker
- Looking to get feedback on if should or shouldn’t do this
- Discussion about Steve’s proposal can be seen and discussed here: Warpcast
