- The indexer is a way to retrieve data about the status of ENS domains and evaluates how domains will look pre and post release of name wrapper
- A solution to identify and store primary names pre-name wrapper was discussed
- M3MBER utilizes subdomains as a way to signify membership as a subscription. You can customize the length of time someone owns a subdomain
- M3MBER’s management platform makes it easy to manage permissions across all your subdomains
- You can also allow users to purchase and extend subdomains from the platform
C) ENS DAO Alliances
- @matoken.eth made a forum post in which he identified DAOs that had the highest percentage of voters with their ENS domain set using a Dune Analytics dashboard
- An onboarding package for DAOs is being developed to help identify voters and make discourse more personal with domains and avatars set. Reach out to Makoto if you wish to help with this initiative.

- ENS Small Grants are live and accepting registrations for one more day.
Bug Bash Update
New Registration UI Walkthrough | @domico.eth
- Over 9000 feedback submissions were made for the UI update
- Subtle changes are coming to the design of the site including color and wording changes before final release
- Final release will be within a day or two of new contracts deployed to mainnet which is expected soon
Project Highlights
- TKN is a token registry built on top of ENS’s decentralized infrastructure
- Tokens persist as subdomains and information about the tokens can be seen in the subname metadata. Check it out here.
0xplus7 | Sofamon
- A Browser extension that gives the user a browser based assistant that helps guide users on which transactions to make, such as registering an ENS domain
- As more requirements are met, your character can level up and earn items such as an ENS hoodie!

ENS Chain Letter | Jannick
- ENS Chain Letter is an NFT project that was deployed recently where you pass the NFT similar to how you would a chain email (throwback).
- This project solves the spam problem of chain messages because each is unique
- The image develops and changes as it is passed between users, eventually looking something like this
- The current holders ENS name will be displayed when looking at the page
- 0xplus7 returns to show us his updates to Sofamon, showing off new animations and features
- Every ENS owner can get a virtual ENS hoodie for their Sofamon by going to their Twitter

- Reminder if you’re a builder to use Thorin, a tool that saves you the hassle of having to design your app. With Thorin you can adopt the specifications ENS labs uses for the new app manager.

- ENS’s grants round will open on 4/14 and stay open until 4/21
- Total provided matching availible is 50k DAI
- The more people who donate to you is weighted in your favor more than the amount of money
- Look for ENS FMs to get the word out and learn more
- Allo Protocol is an on-chain application, look to minimize the amount of edits you have to make to avoid additional gas fees
- To address this, the ENS Ecosystem group will sponsor gas fees for good faith grant applications
- Use this forum post as a trial run before posting on chain

- 4/17 is the anticipated launch of the alpha.ens.domains front end for mainnet

Fileverse | Andreas
- Fileverse is a decentralized alternative to Notion & Gsuite tools.
- The UI is stored on IPFS, chat is end-to-end encrypted, and access is filtered at the address level. This means no email or kyc is needed to collaborate and access can be token gated or whitelisted

Premm and Thomas are looking to make changes around 3 current limitations of subname rentals
- There is a single parent level “renewal controller”
- Subname’s in the name wrapper can be hard to verify as “unruggable”
- Burning the fuse of a wrapped domain carries a high degree of risk for the parent domain holder

The project introduces the idea of a renewal controller that manages the price of renewals. An indepedent 3rd party in this case could control the price of renewals and prevent price hikes on current subname holders
