Areas of focus

  • β€˜Culture is everything.’
  • Working on formalizing it into a report
  • Vibes, energy, and passion for ENS are amazing.

Web3 Clubs in Africa

  • Thomas and James visited Web3 clubs in Kenya, organizations with university lecturers and ambassadors from teams like StarkNet.
  • These clubs have created hundreds of hours of educational material and offer in-person education.
  • Similar organizations exist in other African countries, such as Web3 Bridge in Nigeria and Code Free Spaces in Uganda.
  • Thomas reached out to the leaders of these organizations, who expressed immediate interest in collaboration.

ENS Ambassadors

  • Having ambassadors in various countries could be a central point of contact for ENS-related discussions.
  • This wouldn’t be a huge cost and could involve educating ambassadors about ENS and supporting the Web3 clubs.
  • The goal is to contribute to developer engagement, promote ENS adoption, and educate people and get them to build with ENS.

ENS Support in Africa

  • Suggestion to have a workshop or a 10-week program to work through what ENS is and what developers can do with it.
  • Hackathons and events often fizzle out, leaving developers without continuous support.
  • ENS is well-positioned to provide ongoing support through its ecosystem, public goods, and forum.

6. Open floor for all questions, proposals, and other presentations etc.

DRC update

Co-host Hackathon
