ETHDenver 2023 Community Wrap-up
The main ETHDenver event took place in Denver, Colorado from March 1 - March 5. We had plenty of ENS presence, gave out swag, and had some fun events.
Stewards @katherinewu, @slobo.eth, @Coltron.eth, @simona_pop, and @Limes were in attendance from ENS DAO. Additionally, @alisha.eth, @lucemans, @zadok7, @validator.eth, @gregskril, and @sadaf.eth were representing the ENS Labs team.
There were 3 ENS related POAPs in total at the event.
If you met ENS at the booth you had the opportunity to print a badge, look for your name in a physical copy of the ENS constitution, and chat with the team!
If you came to the Build and Brews event you could pull out your laptop and build, hangout, eat tacos, or play some ping pong! We even had some furry friends come by.
If you came to the Cooper Lounge you got to experience the beautiful ambiance of Union Station at night, let loose with the team, and enjoy some cocktails.
@julieshi.eth, presented her project M3MBER which builds on top of new ENS subdomain functionality at ETHDenver and took home 1st place. Additionally, she presented at the closing ceremony to show off to everyone what she has built.
Anthony Sassano was repping his ENS hat at the conference
- 667 domains set their ENS Avatar from March 2-March 5 (We encouraged people to set this to get an avatar on their badge)
- 242 People collected our booth POAP
- 157 people came through to the Cooper Lounge, all of which had an ENS domain
- Wallets with an ENS domain have 6x more ETH in their wallet on average.
Overall, ETH Denver 2023 was an unforgettable experience that energized and inspired us. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for ENS DAO and the Ethereum ecosystem as a whole, and we look forward to continuing to connect with and learn from our fellow community members.
