1. Weekly Endowment Updates (@kpk + @Steakhouse )
- Diversification might limit upsides, but also limits downsides
2. General DAO Updates Section
Active Proposal - Confirm Members of Security Council
- Proposal Here: Snapshot
- Following the successful passing of the EP5.7, this proposal aims to confirm the 8 individuals who will form the Security Council with the permissions defined in EP5.7. The Security Council will be responsible for protecting the organization from potential governance attacks by having the ability to cancel malicious proposals using the SecurityCouncil smart contract.
- Current large amount of abstain as possible members of council need to abstain from vote and they are large token holders, abstain counts toward quorum not towards yes. If quorum met then just a matter of yes vs. no
- Need to confirm list of names of security council before moving to an exectuable. Executable window will open once this proposal passes on Friday evening or Saturday
- 2 other executables in pipeline for launch this week: Funding for meta-gov and upgrade to DAO Funding contract v2
@avsa.eth on governance risk
- ENS price increase has caused DAO governance attack risk to go down, very low risk. Still important to have security council
Corina Pascu demoing Dhive.io
- Forum post with video here: [Feedback Request] Dhive.io - Governance Data Hub
- Striving to be next governance data tool aggregating on and offchain data, make simple to understand to regular users
- Officially indexed ENS data
- Notifications popular feature: Subscribe to updates to a DAO, decentralized notifications through push protocol
- Please test out and provide feedback in forum and vote for project in Small Grants: Public Goods Round 13 | ENS Small Grants
3. Open Discussion

2x Forum posts from Agora, please read and provide feedback
- Seeking Feedback: ENS Governor Upgrade to make proposing more accessible
- Proposal bonds allow anyone to bypass the proposal creation threshold of ENS which is relatively large, 100K ENS. Instead of needing to have that much voting power, a proposer can acquire less, say 500 ENS, or 1,000 ENS (configurable) and propose based on this lower threshold.
- Seeking Feedback: Agora's Proposal Lifecycle & Proposal Sponsorship Flow - #2 by jengajojo
- We got this idea from talking with the ENS Meta-Gov team and worked with the amazing team at Karpatkey to develop a flow that we think will enable folks to build and make proposals seeking sponsorship easier.
