Release/Relinquish ENS domain

I haven’t seen anything new regarding releasing or relinquishing ENS names that were purchased – is there something soon coming in the works for that?

Hi. I bought a domain last week. But i think the name is protected and its better to give it back or release the domain somehow better than having trouble later… Is there any possibility to make the domain available again? I read allready the answers before to similar questions. But there must be a possibility to release it by maybe replace the registrant or the owner of the domain with ‘0’ or delete them? Thank you

I bought some names that I think may be protected so I do want to release them but giving the way it is, the only solution I’m getting is sending it to a “trash” wallet and wait for the expiration date to finish which is not any time soon. This is not a good solution at all – is there a way for a proposal to be put forward to add that feature?
