  2. [5.17.2] ENS Ecosystem: Requests $836k USDC for ecosystem initiatives, including grants, hackathons, and partnerships.
  3. [5.17.3] ENS Public Goods: Requests $236k USDC for grants, events, hackathons, and bounties supporting Web3 infrastructure.

Update: This voting period is now closed, and all three proposals have reached near-unanimous consensus in support. The proposals will be included in an upcoming collective Executable Proposal.

Social Proposals:

  1. [5.18] ENS DAO Steward Compensation Structure - Term 6
    This proposal outlines the compensation structure for ENS DAO stewards for Term 6

  2. [5.19] Governance Distribution Pilot
    This Governance Distribution Program involves the retroactive distribution of ENS tokens, with a detailed table outlining the amounts to be distributed.

  3. [5.20] ENS Endowment Investment Policy Statement
    This proposal introduces an Investment Policy Statement (IPS) for the ENS DAO, providing guidelines for managing its treasury, investments, and financial resources, including strategies for risk management, diversification, and asset allocation.

  4. [5.21] Governance Security Bounty
    This proposal looks to compensate blockful, a participant who potentially helped prevent an attack on the ENS DAO. It suggests that blockful’s efforts contributed to securing the governance mechanism, and the proposal is checking consensus on compensating them for their contribution.

Executable Proposals:

  1. [5.22] ENSv2 Development Funding Request
    This proposal seeks to secure increased funding for ENS Labs to develop, maintain, and audit ENSv2, a major upgrade designed to enhance decentralization, scalability, and flexibility by integrating Layer 2 solutions and a redesigned protocol, enabling ENS to better support Ethereum’s evolving rollup-centric infrastructure.

  2. [5.23] Governance Security Bounty
    This proposal requests compensation for the blockful team for their critical role in identifying and mitigating a $150M vulnerability in ENS DAO’s governance, leading to the establishment of a Security Council that strengthens ENS DAO’s resilience, with payment structured as $100k USDC and 15k vested ENS tokens over two years to ensure sustained commitment to ENS security.

  3. [5.24] Term 5 Q4, Collective Working Group Funding Proposal
    This proposal approves and executes the funding requests for the October 2024 funding window, allocating USDC funds to the Meta-governance, Ecosystem, and Public Goods Working Groups to ensure continuity of operations and maintain prudent reserves until the next funding window in April 2025.

Special note: The proposal is being resubmitted following the acknowledgment of a clerical error. A new proposal with a verbatim specification, EP.25 has been submitted to the ballot in its place.
