Hackathons
We expect to pay for 2025 IRL hackathons in late 2024, we secure preferred terms by commiting early. ENS will have an active presence at a minimum of five hackathons in 2025. Hackathon costs include sponsorship fees and hacker prizes.
Bug Bounty Program
The bug bounty program moved to Immunefi in 2024. Ecosystem funded the multsig with $250k in June. Since then, $100k has been paid out. To maintain the balance, the Ecosystem WG will top up the wallet to $250k in August. Based on recent history a buffer of $50k is allocated to this catagory.
Grants
The Ecosystem Working Group supports projects and builders contributing to the ENS ecosystem through grants. The vast majority of these grants are awarded retroactively, based on value created for the ecosystem. Funding details can be found here.
Ecosystem Support
This includes $20k for the Graph, which was migrated from a hosted service to decentralized network. This category may also include smart contract audit support.
