A) Gitcoin GR15 ENS Side Round 3
- GR 15 Update.
- Over 100 projects have been submitted.
- The round closes on September 22 at 11:59 pm UTC.
- Reminder: Keep your profile up to date after the round closes. Even though the matching round closes, you can still receive contributions
B) ENS Project Highlights
Planetable
- Xin Lui from planetable presented their native macOS app that makes it simple for people to have an ENS Domains website.
- Plantable generates a folder of a static website and writes the CID to IPNS to set on IPFS
- Peer-to-peer hosting with IPFS.
- Planetable is currently only available on macOS, but open source, and someone from the community to make it compatible with Linux or Windows.
- Planetable can be followed on Twitter or Github.
Wordpress Plugin to SIWE
- @davisshaver could not present, but the project is requesting beta tests. See: Request for beta testers & feedback - WordPress plugin for Sign-In With Ethereum
C) ENS core updates
Namewrapper is expected this week on testnet- Namewrapper is on testnet!
- New manager is expected to launch early to mid-October.
- Please provide feedback to TNL for https://alpha.ens.domains/.
- TNL will have a quarterly update near the end of the month.
D) Review any upcoming events with ENS involvement
- Devcon is next month.
- If you want to connect, there is a roll call on the forum.
- Also, if you will attend and would like to voluteer for the ENS DAO booth, reach out to @coltron.eth
E) Open space for other ecosystem -elated topics
- Attendees and stewards discussed how to accurately assess value and the paths forward for projects to request funds.
- There will be a follow-up post about this topic from the stewards this week.
- ENS Small Grants
- Small Grants submissions are open until September 23 at 6 pm GMT.
- The approval voting strategy uses Serenae’s ERC-20 with override, so those who have delegated will not need to rely on their delegate to vote for projects.
- The ENS Small Grants project is open source. If you’d like to contribute, please do so on Github.
- Meta-gov will also contribute 5E to the following Public Goods round to boost the available funding.
