Spending Categories Explained
Large Grants
Grants up to 50k USDC with applications accepted on a rolling basis throughout the term. Large Grants are planned to resume this term with a reduced number of grantees.
Growth Grants
Grants up to 10k USDC with application rounds every quarter. Growth Grants Grants are planned to resume in Q4 of 2023 with a reduced number of grantees.
Small Grants
Multiple micro-grants voted on by the community. Small Grants will resume this term with modifications to the previous format. To reduce voter fatigue and apathy, the working group will experiment with one round per quarter and adjust award amounts.
Events and Hackathons
The working group will provide support to Public Goods events and hackathons. Funds will not be allocated for any travel expenses.
Discretionary
The funds in this category are reserved for unforeseen grants and unexpected expenses for the term. Spending in this category is at the discretion of the working group stewards.
