2. TOKENIZATION LLC @ENSPunks.eth

  • tokenization - 1W3
  • ENSPunks: I’m an attorney, help small businesses get setup
  • Solution to a personal problem developed in 2022, involved in Web3, have self-custody wallets, participating in governance, need legal protection while conducting normal Web3 transactions
  • Created PunksLLC as a Delaware LLC, specifically a Series LLC, which gives legal authority to create separate LLCs underneath.
    • Create Series for each wallet - in real world property owners would use them for each one of the properties - if one of the properties gets sued the liability is limited to that one asset
  • Tokenization LLC creates a Series LLC with each ENS subdomain
  • Have been using it for over a year, want to open it publicly and get conversations going
  • Q: Is there a limit to number of LLCs?
  • A: Was created to reduce number of filings and filing fees (save people money). Other crypto orgs have identified this as a use case for crypto. At some point the State of Delaware might look into it, but unknown at what number of Series LLCs. Could be required filings in other jurisdictions

  • Want to enable non-profits to raise crypto and build crypto economies, but not a safe place given scams and frauds and phishing attacks
  • Easy for people to make mistakes in sending crypto
  • Building simplest non-custodial wallet on the market
  • ENS wallets allow for resticting things that can do (e.g. send to an 0x address that is wrong or fraudulent) aka idiot-proof
  • Will have advanced mode, but will teach people how to use features
  • Allow anyone with ENS domain to create own onboarding portal

This repository implements all the functionality required to fetch and verify multiple storage slots from an EVM-compatible chain, omitting only the L2-specific logic of determining a block to target, and verifying the root of the generated proof

Design Goals

  • Trying to build a way for communities to govern the creation and use of sub-names off a parent ENS name
  • Shared, resusable, modular system of smart contracts
  • Pluggable auth policies and fee policies for minting/transferring subnames
  • Extensibility
  • Onchain, offchain, and wildcard resolution support
  • Community administration and moderation of subnames
  • Respect existing names and records outside of the Guild tags namespace

  • Automatic wildcard resolution for token IDs of an ERC721 project, including resolving the token art as the name’s ‘avatar’ text record
