NameStone
We are on a mission to be the premier subname provider for ENS. Our mantra is “Your Name, Your Way, Fast”.
The Q4 update covers product releases, usage statistics, and the rebranding of Resolver Works to NameStone. None of this would be possible without the continued support of the ENS DAO. Thank you.
Product Releases
Durin.dev
Durin is an opinionated approach to issuing ENS subnames on L2. We automated the standard bits so developers can focus on creating unique functionality with ENS subnames.
Durin consists of:
- A frontend to handle deploying and configuring registries & registrars
- An open source repo with deploy scripts and smart contracts
- A default gateway to enable ENS name resolution on Sepolia & mainnet
- Supports Scroll, Linea, Arbitrum, Optimism, and Base
We were excited to see Durin used at ETHGlobal Bangkok. Over 100 registries have been deployed by hackers to date.
Gon.id
gon.id is an onchain subname project built on Polygon PoS and ENS. Developed with custom, open source contracts, gon.id offers free mints for users and tools for developers to create their own subname projects.
About gon.id:
- Available for all to mint (5+ characters are free)
- Fully open source
- Built on Polygon PoS and ENS
The launch of gon.id has added over 600 ENS subnames to the ecosystem. Any project can use the gon-id repo to deploy their own version.

It’s been nice to see new projects coming onboard to use NameStone. Our favorite to recently launch is burner, a low cost hardware wallet designed for gifting stablecoins.
Resolutions
Resolutions have continued to grow alongside subname issuance. When we started NameStone, we did not expect this many pings to our servers. We believe a good portion of them are from third-party bots; nevertheless, we are here to serve humans and bots alike.
Rebrand
We’re pleased to announce that we’re unifying our brand under NameStone and retiring “Resolver Works” from our public branding. As part of this transition, we’ve moved from namestone.xyz to namestone.com, where you’ll find all our products and services moving forward.
This wraps up our Q4 update. Thank you, and as always, it is our pleasure to build on top of ENS.
