Resolver Works Q3 2024

We are on a mission to be the premier subname provider for ENS. Our mantra is “Your Name, Your Way, Fast”.

The Q3 update covers usage statistics, product enhancements, and notable activations. None of this would be possible without the continued support of the ENS DAO. Thank you.

Usage Statistics - Summary

Subnames Created

Subnames are used by hackers and organizations seeking a community identity. A notable example from Q3 is SheFi.

Resolutions have continued to grow alongside subname issuance. When we started NameStone, we did not expect this many pings to our servers. We believe a good portion of them are from third-party bots; nevertheless, we are here to serve humans and bots alike.

Product Enhancements

The best products continuously improve over time through use. All of these enhancements came from requests. Your feedback is always welcome.

ENSPro

Upgrades to ENSPro include support for L2 addresses on Optimism, Base, Arbitrum, and Polygon, as well as enhanced emoji and non-ASCII character support.

In addition, we open-sourced ENSPro so other developers can benefit from our efforts.

NameStone

We were so pleased to see an external developer create an SDK for NameStone. Thanks ncale.eth! We were so grateful that we paid out a retro bounty for his efforts. Users who prefer to interact with our API through an SDK can now do so via our Quickstart.

Notable Activations

We want to highlight two notable activations this quarter. First, we witnessed SheFi handing out gasless subnames at their SheFi Summit in Singapore (Sept 17th).

It was especially nice to see our SDK in action. Their project is a great example for anyone hoping to spin up and issue subnames quickly.

Second, we saw NameStone pick up traction with hackers, most recently using us at ETHBrussels and ETHRome.

This wraps up our Q3 update. Thank you, and as always, it is our pleasure to build on top of ENS.
